Dr. Terry Hanusa

Dr. Terry Hanusa is a board-certified psychiatrist that has been practicing in the Chicago region for over 40 years. Dr. Hanusa obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Chemistry from the University of Illinois and completed his psychiatric residency at Northwestern University, Evanston Hospital. Dr. Hanusa then went on to earn his medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Dr. Hanusa has received many awards during his impressive career including the 25-Year Service Award from NorthShore University Healthcare System and the Schlageter Award from Northwestern University's Department of Psychology, recognizing his lasting contributions to medicine and psychology. As a former Medical Director of the Chapman Center at Evanston Hospital, Dr. Hanusa shaped mental health services and served as a research supervisor. His dedication extends to advisory roles with pharmaceutical companies like Parke-Davis, Janssen Pharmaceutical, and AstraZeneca, showcasing a commitment to staying at the forefront of medical advancements.
