Dr. William Kendall Bache

Dr. Kendall Bache is a board-certified psychiatrist who attended the University of Louisville’s School of Medicine. He completed his psychiatry residency training at Harvard Medical School’s South Shore Adult Psychiatry Residency Program and is currently an Instructor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He also completed fellowship at Boston’s Psychoanalytic Society and Institute in psychoanalytic theory and practice.

Dr. Bache’s areas of interest include: Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Interventional Psychiatry, Substance Use Disorders, Trauma, Mind Body Medicine, and Health and Technology. Dr. Bache has been involved in the publication of multiple peer reviewed journal articles, online reviews, and book chapters on various topics in medicine including mental health pharmacology and serious mental illness. In addition to these publications, he has been involved w/ research including a collaborative (family medicine and psychiatry) project at the University of Louisville studying the effectiveness of computer aided CBT for chronic pain patients and a project investigating a blood test and biomarkers to identify patients with bipolar disorder. He is dedicated to providing high quality treatment to his patients along with compassion and understanding. Dr. Bache enjoys international travel, boxing, running and rescuing/fostering shelter animals until they are adopted.
