Dr. Waheed K. Bajwa

Dr. Waheed K. Bajwa joined Greenbrook TMS in December 2016 as Medical Director of our Cary and North Raleigh centers with more than 30 years of experience treating patients struggling with psychiatric disorders. His experience includes working in managed care with United Behavioral Health, and working in public health with Milwaukee County Mental Health and Dorothea Dix Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as 20 years in private practice. Dr. Bajwa’s areas of special interest include treating depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, personality disorder, adult ADHD, schizophrenia and dual diagnosis.

Dr. Bajwa completed his residency at a Columbia University affiliate, Harlem Hospital in New York, and his fellowship in biological psychiatry at Albert Einstein College affiliate Montefiore Medical Center in New York. He is board certified in adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry and has been an active participant in academia with positions at Albert Einstein College and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
