Dr. Madan Uprety

Medical Director

Dr. Madan Uprety joined Greenbrook TMS in July 2016 as Medical Director of Greenbrook's Reston Center. Dr. Uprety was selected as one of the 15 most talented students in his former country of residence and was awarded a full scholarship for six years of medical school. While studying medicine in Katmandu, Nepal, he published the textbook Essentials of MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) entrance examination. During his fourth year of psychiatry residency training at Brookdale University Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Uprety was selected as a Chief Resident, providing leadership to 20 resident psychiatrists while fostering their clinical and professional training. He is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
