Business Applications Specialist
Full-time Business Applications Specialist position at Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers now available! The Business Application Specialist is responsible for supporting users with regards to all of the company’s business software, including but not limited to, supporting departments such as Clinical, Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing & Communications, Technology as well as Cross-Departmental project management.
This person will work closely with supported departments and users to fully understand their needs, delivering solutions that will help make their operations more efficient. They will ensure optimal system use, will design processes for best use and could provide training to users.
This person will also advise the various departments with regards to software choices, will oversee the software set-up upgrading and maintenance, ensuring practices are aligned with overall IT strategies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- In conjunction with the Head of Technology, identify improvement priorities, and build yearly roadmaps with clear goals, timelines and budgets for executive approval.
- Evaluate the state of the company’s various business software, their use and the state of their current implementation. Analyze the structure, processes and information flow of the various support departments to identify application solutions. Recommend ways that the current software can be used to make operations more efficient, including review of potential integrations between systems.
- Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner, reviewing issues and proposing solutions. Act as the main point person with software providers to resolve issues requiring escalation.
- Evaluate, integrate, and install new modules or new features. Complete maintenance and answer user questions. Properly assess, plan and communicate the impacts of changes.
- Create, develop and oversee processes for usage of business applications, identifying systems improvements or required features.
- Design and deliver training sessions to users, adapted to their specific needs. Provide individual support to ensure proper system use.
- Conduct exploration of the latest technologies, and determine technologies to increase operational efficiency, infrastructure flexibility, and operational stability.
- Actively participate in the selection process and purchase of new business software and lead their implementation.
- Lead, provide technical guidance, and serve as a mentor to other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technology and methods, in order to identify future areas for development.
- Work on special projects related to their area of responsibility and executive initiatives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Technology
- Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems, like Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Datorama, Voice Cloud, etc.
- Experience with Athena Health or other EMRs
- Microsoft Suite
- Financial Force or equivalent financial software
- ADP Workforce Now, or equivalent payroll software
- Project or Task Management software such as Monday.com, Asana or others
- Communication software (web chat, text, Podium)
Education
- Bachelor in Computer Science (minor or major), or related discipline.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in supporting business application
- Strong knowledge of general business processes.
- Experience in workflow analysis.
- Experience leading training initiatives.
