Mental Health Technician/Medical Assistant

Full-time position now available in our Westport and Fairfield centers offering the opportunity to provide patient care utilizing a breakthrough treatment modality for treating depression, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, or TMS Therapy. Greenbrook TMS is seeking an individual who will be certified to deliver TMS Therapy under the supervision of our medical directors, staff physicians, and center manager.

Primary responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Delivering TMS Therapy to our patients - training is provided
• Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions
• Office administrative tasks such as managing leads, reporting statistical activity to center manager, scheduling appointments, collecting copays, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and at least one year in a patient care/mental health office setting, or
• a HS Diploma or Associate's degree and at least 2 years in a patient care/mental health office setting
• at least one year Medical Assistant experience preferred

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Billing software knowledge
• Knowledge of marketplace insurance payers & medical necessity guidelines are highly preferred, but not required, for this position
• Insurance knowledge
• Clinical Interviewing
• Basic Life Support Certification

This position will primarily work out of the Westport and Fairfield centers but may require travel to other centers in the region as needed. While our normal business hours are M-F 8:00a - 5:00p, we need availability from 7am - 7:30pm (typically 8 hour shifts) as our hours of operation are flexible and varying depending on our patients' needs (including occasional weekends too).
