Directions: The building is right off the major highways between an apartment complex and Huntington Car Shop near the Huntington Ave Metro Station. It's a gray building across the street from another apartment complex with tennis courts. There is free parking. The building is locked 24/7. When you walk to the front door, you will see a call box that you can scroll through to find GB. Press the call button and wait for a click to open the door. Make a slight right off the elevator, and you'll see our door. The back door is usually propped open if you park behind the building. Walk through the hall past the vending machines. Once you make a right, you will be in the lobby where the elevators are.

What is TMS therapy?  

TMS is an FDA-cleared, non-drug, non-invasive therapy for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Using the same magnetic technology found in MRI machines, TMS therapy stimulates the areas of the brain responsible for mood. TMS provides depression symptom relief for about 83% of people who try it after antidepressants have proven ineffective. 

How long is TMS therapy treatment?  

TMS therapy lasts six to nine weeks, with treatment in the first phase being five days a week, then tapering off to only a couple days per week.  Each TMS session takes 18-45 minutes while you remain seated in a comfortable chair at our private center. Treatment schedules and duration vary from patient to patient, and your Greenbrook provider will explain your recommended treatment plan during your evaluation. 

Is there downtime after TMS?  

No, you can leave immediately following a TMS session and resume your normal daily activities with zero downtime. Most patients report either no side effects at all, or some minor discomfort (such as a mild headache) after the first few TMS sessions.
